Robber’s cave is a way between two mountains. In Robber’s cave water flows knee deep, though the level of water rises and decreases according to weather and season. There is also a water fall at the end of the cave in which people take bath and enjoy. There are many shops around Robber’s cave which serve food and drinks (non alcoholic) to visitors. Changing rooms are also available to change cloths after enjoying in waterfall. Parking is also available for two wheeler and four wheelers vehicle.

People believe, in British era robbers who used to rob rich people with their belonging like cash, jewellery and other valuable items used to hide them in this cave.   3. Visit Duration: 4 to 5 hours

Carry extra cloths and towel with yourself so that you wouldn’t have to wear wet cloths. There is a shop which provides bathroom slippers on rent of 10 INR each; if you like you could also carry your own slippers.

Food stalls are also there near Robber’s cave but they usually serves fast food, so if you want to eat heavy meal you must carry your meal with yourself. There are no other shops near robber’s cave so carry all thing things which you need most of the time.

Robber’s cave is a non- alcoholic tourist place so please don’t carry any kind of alcoholic drink, it may also lead you into a trouble as police personals are always stationed there for the safety of people.

Robber’s Cave Distance from ISBT

Anyone can easily reach Robber’s cave. All you need to know is that it is located near Garhi cant, people call Robber’s cave Gucchupani so you better remember this name. The distance to Robber’s cave from Dehradun railway station is not much one can reach Gucchupani in 30 minutes. If you come from ISBT Dehradun, you will take around 40 minutes to reach here. To reach Gucchupani, first you have to board a bus to Anarwala, from there you can take bus or auto to Gucchupani (Robbers Cave).
